2009 - amazing so far but a little sad
It does make me sad, though, because the one thing I really wanted for my grandmother to see and be there for, she's not. Well she will be but you know what I mean. I already know I'm going to be an emotional basket case that day. Yeah, I'm proud of myself for making it through but I would give anything in this world to have her there physically so that I could see the look on her face. She stayed after me for years to go back to school and finally a few months before she died, I decided to. I bought my books for my first semester the same day I had to take her clothes to the funeral home. That morning that I walked into the bookstore, I stood there for a moment with the thoughts of "screw this" going through my head and I thought about turning around and just forgetting all about school but something made me stay there. It wouldn't let me leave and it hasn't let me give up this whole time.
Just reflecting and thinking on what 2009 has already given my family this year...it's amazing and sad all at the same time. I'm graduating, my brother, Jason, who NO ONE thought would ever have a kid...well he did...a little boy that is the spitting image of him (my grandmother would've been over the moon), my youngest brother, Josh, had another baby (a son) two weeks after Jason's son was born and my cousin, Shannon, got married last weekend. All of these amazing life changing events so close to each other. My grandmother would've been swimming in pride and excitement. So it's all a little bittersweet.
What I do know is that I am so thankful for everything I have left and everything that I had when my grandmother was alive. I am praising God for the amazing husband, mother and kids that I have. My mom and I were always close but she has become my best friend in so many ways and I would truly be lost without her. Same with my husband. I love that man. I really do. I could never find another man that fits me so perfectly. My boys, they are my angel and my miracle.
My friends that I have made this year. Wow, I don't even know what to say. They along with NKOTB (of course) are what picked my ass up off the floor last year and kept me going. So many times last year I wanted to crawl in a hole and never come out. I didn't want to smile or get out and have fun. I just wanted to cry and scream. Thank God for them. They added so much joy and laughter and sillyness to my life. I am a better person and stronger person because of each one of them. We all may have our different ways about doing things, saying things and perceiving things but when we all get together, it's like we are all just one big tardlike 12 year old and it's awesome. I can't wait to see what else 2009 has in store for us....
Speaking of which...bring on some Grown Man on St Patty's Day!!!

Everyone is getting ready for the crazy ass adventure that it is to come in about a week. I can't freaking wait. Wonder how many times I'm gonna keep saying that hmmm I don't want to post anymore information on here about the when and where's because there are sure to be other people roaming around "investigating" just like we do haha Silly huh? I think so but who cares. It's fun.
Damn I am random today. I'm all over the place. Sick of school and ready for it to be over with. I have a civil litigation test tonight. Oh joy! NOT. This class doesn't bother me but it's all about rules.
Anyhow...I need to finish working on my other sign. I've alrady got one that's finished and now I need to get the other one finished.
That's enough of my rambling for now. I'm even driving myself crazy.

No Snow For Me booooo
Having said that...I'm ready for some warm weather. I am ready for St Patty's Day with the bishes and the Boston boys and I don't want to be standing outside the arena freezing my ass off...although, I have no problem doing that. Last time in Charlotte, it was seriously cold as hell that morning but we roughed it and had a good time doing so. I can't wait for this adventure to begin! I'm so beyond excited and ready. I'm ready to hang with the girls and see THE MAN...not that the other men are any less awesome to see but it's a Donnie thing.
Atleast I got my stupid paper done for my law office management class. Seriously...that class can stuff it. I HATE that class and that's an understatement. I've enjoyed all of my other classes but this one is a serious waste of time and money and I am putting forth no effort in it. I'm tired of it and the prissy teachers that sit there with a chip on their shoulders when in actuality they are the same thing I am - a freaking paralegal. No more, no less. They suck.
So anyhow... I'll just keep staring at my Donnie cell phone screen saver for the next couple weeks until it's time to tard out again and be grateful that this semester is almost over and graduation in 2 months away!

It Keeps Getting Better
anyhow!!!!!!!!!!
Just found out that both Erica and Dawn are going to the Greenville show!! HELL YES! This is gonna be one helluva St Patty's Day!! One that is surely never to be forgotten. (If only we had Val to complete the crew!) I can't wait. I wonder how many times I'm going to say that in the next couple weeks. Probably just as much as Amber saying "I'm so excited!" or wait..now she's all "atingle" haha. That word makes me laugh. So it's gonna be on...crazy up in the hotel room in Greenville! Everyone is getting in Monday night except for Katrina who will be getting there Tuesday afternoon. We forgive her this time since she was out at the arena in the wee hours of the morning last time with us! I can't imagine what's gonna go down in the hotel!
Ok let's see...
Blackberry Merlot to sip or gulp - CHECK
Goofy signs to get the guys' attention - CHECK
St Patty's Day gear to celebrate the day - CHECK
Camera to take pics of some Grown Man - CHECK
What else am I missing? lol
Ok..again I repeat myself.. I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Girls, bishes, NKOTB hookers, whatever you'd like to refer to yourself as...I LOVE YOU and prepare for some CRAZY SHIT! :)

2 In The Morning...ahhhh
I woke up this morning to check on the tickets Jolynn was trying to sell and the ones she wanted to buy in the row right behind Katrina and myself.... Well...the tickets she was trying to sell sold overnight!!! HELL YES! So I texted her at like 6:45am and told her. I got a call from her a few minutes later and she had bought the third row seats right behind us! I cannot wait! I'm so glad we're going to be down there together. Hopefully Amber and Erin will be close by! Now if only we could get Erica, Valerie and Dawn in the mix - it would be awesome!!
I just came from my 8am criminal law class. I really like the class but it's too freaking early some days lol It's always entertaining though. I have a great professor who in a lot of ways reminds me of Robin Williams, the actor. He's a hoot. And then there is this girl in there who falls asleep EVERY SINGLE FREAKING CLASS and she sounds like Darth Vader when she breathes and sleeps. She snores loud as hell too and it's kind of amusing to watch her head bob up and down while she's sleeping. LOL This girl is in the front row of the class too. HAHA
Anyhow, other than that.... I'm wishing 11am would hurry up and get here. I wanna go get a taco salad for lunch and I'm freaking starving.
Here's the video for "2 In The Morning"....ahhh my man is so gorgeous!!!!

Saturday rants
Anyhow...
My current struggle is trying to figure out what exactly I want to wear to the NKOTB concert on St Patty's Day. No freaking idea. This is the part about going to their show that drives me mad. I'm not doing VIP this time so it really really doesn't matter but it still does matter. I want to look cute but not over doing it. Ughhh so much to figure out in such little time. On another note..well kinda... I'm so freaking excited! Gonna be on the floor SECOND ROW with Katrina and Amber & Erin will be somewhere close by. Trying to talk Jolynn into buying the floor seat near Katrina and I. That would be awesome!!!
In other news...I've got an interrogatory to write and then the response to the interrogatory to write for my civil litigation class this week. I love the classes and love the writing but I hate having to go to class at night. It's beginning to become very draining...especially with 3 classes at night during the week...Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and then I have an 8 am criminal law class on Monday and Wednesday mornings and then I have to do my internship and THEN come home and be mommy. I'm so ready to graduate and be done with this...for now...Thinking of going back to school and continuing on to law school in the future. I guess we will see.
Ok I'm done for now. I need a drink!

Katrina and I will be celebrating St Patty's Day with NKOTB ...2nd ROW!

I say "F" it and went ahead and bought tickets today! YUP! Was going to wait a little while longer and see what came available but today... 2 seats popped up in the SECOND ROW for only $134. I emailed & texted Katrina and she was in so I went ahead and got them! HELL YES!! WE GOT THIS!
So Katrina and I will be celebrating St Patty's Day 2009 in Greenville with NKOTB and our other bishes that will be in attendance! Already planning to have a Blackberry Merlot toast before the show! I can't wait!! I still can't believe we got that lucky with those tickets! Seriously...
This is sure to be a St Patty's Day to remember. Now I've just got to figure out what I'm wearing....
Here we go again!
Donnie Donnie Donnie
So then Amber text me and tells me that Donnie has put up a new blog. Go to read it and damn if he doesn't nail me with his words about not going to see them in the spring because the show won't change til the summer. Damn that man! He always knows how to get to a woman and make her give in. So here I am...looking at Ticketmaster again...I'm thinking I may wait a couple weeks and then buy a ticket. Hopefully by then, more awesome floor seats will have come available. New Kids & St Pattys Day...are you freaking kidding me?! How damn perfect is that?! If no stupid obstacles come about...I WILL BE IN GREENVILLE CELEBRATING ST PATTYS DAY WITH THE DEW!!!!
Keeping fingers crossed!
Now...for your viewing pleasure... here's the guys on Regis & Kelly this morning performing "2 In The Morning"... LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!!
*The sound seems a little off in the video but until I find a better video, this will have to do!*

Thanks, Dawn..You did this...
First of all, I miss my bishes. Oh and since "Jenn in Jersey" as I so affectionately refer to her, is not in my "bish" group...she's my super duper adopted biotch/sister/pimp/hooker and all things crazy and wonderful. I'm starting to kind of go through NKOTB withdrawals...ok well...Donnie Wahlberg withdrawals to be exact. Love that damn man! Anyhow, I'm not going to the Greenville show on St Patrick's Day and I've made my peace with that...haha...seriously I have....but I am hoping that summer gets here soon and I get my Donnie loving or shall I say my Donnie freak on. I hate this waiting shit. Takes too much out of you..I don't have the patience for this again lol Ok maybe I do....but I don't like it!!
Going off the idea of Dawn's post a few months ago...I wanted to say a few words about each of my girls and why they are so special to me. Awww...how effin cute huh? Just be quiet and listen... (Jenn in Jersey...I know you've got some smart comment right about now! I love you anyways!!!).
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

JENN in Jersey: What can I say but I effin love you woman. You were there to see my dream come true. Hell, it is because of YOU that my dream came true. You are like the sister I never had and the pimp I unexpectedly and somehow employed while in New York. Between sleeping in chairs for days and nights on end, Blow Pop licking contests, freaking out at orange Hummers in Manhattan, showers at the YMCA, being dumped on by a tropical storm, tailgating in the IZOD parking lot, chugging bottles of vodka, being pimped out to WAHLBERG himself, whiney chics in NYC, going to pee at the scary deli in the middle of the night, hunting tents in the middle of NYC, crazy cab rides and everthing else we experienced together... I love you, hooker!!!
=========

JOLYNN: You have surprised me in so many ways. I'm so glad that you decided to do VIP! I told you it was worth it. You are what kept me sane during those couple of months leading up to the Charlotte show. Man, we talked every freaking night for like two hours...and it was all about NKOTB...ok well Donnie and Jonathan! LOL I will never forget the FACE TIME sign you made! That was awesome! LOL Thanks for the beer at the show! HAHA
DAWN: Your energy is amazing! I am so glad that I've gotten to know you so much better. You have an amazng heart and you are such a wonderful friend. Everytime I talk to you, I smile. Thank you for giving us all a laugh at VIP with Donnie and Robo. You have more balls than any man I've ever met! That morning outside the arena was one of the best times of my life! FRIED PICKLES!!
AMBER: Girl, you may be young but you "aint" no beginner! LOL You are such a sweetie and you always make me smile. I will always associate the quote "I LOVE DONNIE WAHLBERG" with you and the Charlotte show! LOL The night before the show was quite interesting too! You are my fellow Donnie girl and we have a bond forever because of it lol And you seriously kick ass for the Southie movie! Oh and thanks for getting me hooked on some blackberry merlot! When I'm in my AA meetings years down the road, I'll be sure to send a shout out to you!
KATRINA: My paralegal sidekick. I am so glad I've gotten to know you. You are such a wealth of information...not only about the guys and your experiences with them but also with legal questions. Prepare to be bombarded at some point! LOL Here's to anti hangover drinks, Grown Man dance lessons and Kahlua cookies!
ERIN: You're the quiet one but quirky nonetheless! You always make me laugh with your crazy random texts! Out of the blue, I'll get a text about stolen flip flops and poop in Santa's cookies. Love it! Your cupcakes always come in handy and they kick ass! LOL
ERICA: I freaking knew you were cool from the first time I talked to you! You're just freaking cool girl. I love your straight up answers about anything and everything. You are my Cold Stone enabler and now everytime I add Gummi Bears to my icecream I think of your "polar bears" comment! LOL Oh and thank God I didn't snore that night at your house haha :) You rock.
VALERIE: You are straight up in your face New Yorker and I love you for it. I think you drop F bombs more than anyone I know including myself lol Another fellow Donnie girl...you know we gotta stick together and we definitely have to work on getting you some Donnie love this summer!
So in closing I will say this....I effin love you chics! You all have changed my life in so many wonderful ways this past year and I am so thankful to have you all in my life. I can't wait to see what kind of trouble we can get into in the future!
BALL WASHERS UNITE!
